Fright Fest

Every year monsters and ghouls take over the beloved Six Flags theme park to delight and terrify the guests who are brave enough to attend. In 2023 the park celebrated the event’s 30 year anniversary with over 200 scare actors and a new custom stilt character Nightmare to rule them all. It also added a brand new daytime character, Willoughby to share the spooky spirit with kids. 2024 saw the edition of a new scare zone themed after the Wicked book series with over 10 new characters. As a wardrobe technician I assisted the larger wardrobe team with measuring, styling, distributing and collecting hundreds of reoccurring characters form the park’s stock. I also worked in a 2-3 person team responsible for patterning, building, altering and maintaining the new monsters that join the park each year. I was also often assigned the evening event shifts where I completed efficient and practical on site repairs as needed.
